I have been doodling for years. It started out as a means of passing the time in lessons at school, but has since developed into a unique abstract style of its own. I’ve filled notebooks and sketch pads full of these creations. I decided to give them more structure by applying the style to identifiable silhouettes. Each one is done using a basic black pen sketched roughly A5 size before being scanned in a converted into a vector. This is the animals gallery. Hope you like them.
If you would like to use these drawings, perhaps for a tattoo, or any other reason, I’m sure I’d be happy with it so long as you seek permission from me first. Email me at john [at] johndonkin [dot] com. Unfortunately I don’t have prints for sale at this moment in time. But if you are interested in printing your own copies I would be happy to send you the high resolution files if you ask. Similarly if you like the style but would like to commission something special I am open to attractive offers. Look forward to hearing from you.
